Eldermark Releases Dashboards: Arkansas & Ecumen First Users

Published On: Dec 14, 2016

CAST Business Associate Eldermark is proud to announce the successful release of its first round of Dashboards, enabling real-time monitoring of key performance indicators.

The senior care industry can now benefit from real-time, comprehensive data reports within milliseconds to aid in enhancing resident care and the bottom line. These mobile-optimized dashboards are user-friendly and accessible on any hardware device that connects to the internet.

Reports from the field of Eldermark’s early Dashboards users include favorited key performance indicators such as these:

Marketing users access real-time data on sales, revenues, referrals, reservations and more.

Census marketing and clinical users alike access real-time data on headcount, occupancy trends, length of stay and more.

Incidents by cross-referencing data on resident incident reports and changes in condition, clinicians can develop best practices in prevention, disease process management, and follow-up services.

As data continues to be the engine behind business decisions, the ability for Eldermark clients to customize their daily data reports and access them in real-time allows them to focus on what matters most to the user, to access the top metrics needed to ensure the achievement of operational goals.

Arkansas Approves Eldermark’s EMAR

In addition, the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy recently approved Eldermark to provide  electronic medication administration record technology (EMAR) to all senior living providers within the state.

Eldermark Software has successfully coded 16 major pharmacy dispensing interfaces. Senior living providers in Arkansas now have the ability to utilize EMAR with any of the major pharmacy systems already being implemented. The immediate benefit regarding the decision to utilize EMAR is that there is no charge to the pharmacy. Eldermark also trains and supports the EMAR technology with the pharmacy and community.

By interfacing directly with the dispensing pharmacy, EMAR allows the community to access in real-time the resident's dispensed medication information and completes the resident's electronic health record. These benefits can now be recognized statewide in Arkansas.

Ecumen Among First User

In other news, Ecumen, a LeadingAge and CAST not-for-profit member in Shoreview, MN, with operations across seven states, is among the first users of Eldermark’s dashboards. Ecumen is among the country's largest providers of senior housing and services and is a legacy client of Eldermark.

"I love the Dashboards," reported Ecumen CIO and CAST Commissioner Larry Jorgensen. "With these [dashboards], not only do we have a powerful new management tool, but with the mobile app we can put that tool in the hands of our leaders and provide them with real-time information."
