HOME Program 2016 Rent and Income Limits Posted
The current HOME Income Limits and Rent Limits have been posted on the HUDExchange website. Both limits became effective on June 6, 2016.
The national and state-by-state income limit listings page includes resources on program applicability and calculation methodology, as well as a details on the 2009 rule making conforming changes to the HOME regulations to ensure consistency among HUD programs.
The rent limits page provides details by state or nationally and explains the “lesser of” rule governing HOME maximum rents and the 20% occupancy rule for properties consisting of five or more HOME-assisted rental units.
