Other Reasons to Attend to Sync in Seattle
In a recent blog, AgeTech West offered a number of other reasons to attend Sync in Seattle:
- Attend a private screening of the Cyber-Seniors documentary. The film chronicles the journey of older adults as they discover the world of the Internet through the guidance of teenage mentors.
- Win an Xbox One gaming console. AgeTech West will give away 5 new Microsoft Xbox One gaming consoles with Kinect 3D. One will go to the highest Xbox bowling score during the conference. Four consoles will be given away in a drawing to communities that commit to starting a “Senior Exergames” program.
- Hear from older adults. An on-stage focus group with older adults will explore how the use of technologies can best support consumers’ desire to age independently and improve their experience of care.
- Pitch for Pilots. Between 8 and 10 technology companies will try and land a pilot partner by giving 4-minute pitches about their new tech-enabled service offerings. Attendees will vote on their favorite and “most likely to succeed” idea.
